In Our Hearts
2 Corinthians 4.6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
Paul witnessed God’s glory on the Damascus road (Acts 9.1-9). The bright light of God’s glory blinded him. When he preached the gospel, he helped others to see the darkness of sin and the glory of God--the glory that was manifested in Christ. We look forward to the day when we will see His face and fully know the glory of God.
Revelation 1.7 Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him...
Dear Father, we are so grateful for the glory of Christ revealed in the gospel. You have brought Light into our hearts and we look forward to the day when we will see Him face to face. May we show the Light to others. Help those who are hurting. Yours is the kingdom, power and glory forever. We ask this in the name of Christ, our Light.
1 John 5.14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Only God can know HOW our prayers WORK but we believe HE answers. Please write me to add names to the prayer list and to report changes in status.
Let us be thankful and prayerful!
