You Are The Light "You are the fight of the world: " Matt. 5:14 A traveler approached a small French village as night was approaching. Men and women were scurrying through the streets. The traveler noticed that each person carried a lamp. When he asked the reason for this, he received this reply, "These people are going to the village house to worship. When we built the meeting house, it was decided that each member would bring his own light to evening worship. There is no other way to light the building. Everyone realizes that if he is not present, the building will be darker. The traveler was curious so he joined the villagers at evening worship. There he found each seat had a place to hang the lighted lamp. As more and more members came in, the building grew brighter and brighter. Do you realize that the church is darker when you are absent from your regular place on Sunday night and Wednesday evenings? Your light is needed not only on Sunday morning, but every other time as well. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!! ! ! For His Cause, |
