The Sparrow

Luke 12.6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

The sparrow's song reassures us that God cares. Fear not! Know that He has the "whole world in His hands." That includes the sparrow, you and me.

1 Peter 5.7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Dear Father, we are grateful for the song birds that remind us that You care. Hold us and protect us. May we always trust in Your love and power. Help those who are hurting. We ask this in the name of Christ, the Beloved. Amen.

1 John 5.14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
