SINNERS WELCOME

Matthew 9:10, “While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and “sinners” came and ate with him and his disciples.

11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?”

12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Dear Father, we are so grateful that Christ has called us to Him. May we always recognize our unworthiness and share Your love and mercy with other sinners. Help those who are hurting. We ask this in the name of Christ, the Beloved. Amen.

1 John 5.14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 

15  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
