OUR GOAL

2 Corinthians 5:6, Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.

7  We live by faith, not by sight.

8  We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the
body and at home with the Lord.

9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

I am so impressed with the apostle's steadfast commitment to his goal. May we have the same commitment regardless of suffering, wars or anything else. May we be as committed to Christ as He is to us.

Dear Father, we offer up our praise to You as our Maker, Provider and Redeemer. Help us to maintain our focus on pleasing You regardless of our circumstances. Help those who are hurting. May we serve them well. We are grateful that we can follow Christ in service and love for others. We ask this in the name of the Beloved. Amen.

1 John 5.14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Only God can know HOW our prayers WORK but we believe HE answers. Please write me to add names to the prayer list and to report changes in status.

Let us be thankful and prayerful!

Love
